Since 1980 John Suchy has been working in the Three Dimensional medium. He says, “It has become a popular medium and I feel it gives a lot of pop to my work and adds more fun to the images.
Drawing is the backbone of everything that Suchy does. His love of detail and New York City, is obvious to people who enjoy his subject matter and his sense of humor.
Besides New York City Suchy has completed edition of Washington DC & Las Vegas, Nevada, Washington, DC & Koln,Germany .
In 2005, Suchy worked on many large N.Y.C. 3-D Hand-painted wood sculptures. Many of them are displayed in a new & very successful, NEW YORK- Style Deli, called I’LL TAKE MANHATTAN in Stratford, Connecticut.
